LAPP provides education and training on foster care topics for foster and kinship caregiver educational programs, caregiver associations, child welfare agencies, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs, attorneys and community agencies working on behalf children in the foster care system. LAPP’s trainings are designed for non-attorneys interested in learning how to help families navigate the foster care system more effectively for the benefit of children. Emphasis is placed on understanding how systems work and finding practical solutions for the challenges facing today’s foster and kinship families.

LAPP frequently receives requests for public speaking engagements and conference presentations throughout the nation. Presentations may be individualized for target audiences.
